My Story

Born in Los Angeles, raised in Cape Town, and currently residing in Israel. I am a hybrid of cultures, who is blessed to have friends from many parts of the world. I aspire to see past labels - and just into the soul of a person.

I am a musician. Music was always an integral part of my life since I was a baby. I have a vivid memory watching my father say Kiddush in shul when I was a very young child. He was a great rabbi with a beautiful voice. I have essentially been trained in singing and leading prayer from birth.

After high school, I went on a gap year to Israel, where I didn't have a piano for a few months. I started to slightly lose my mind and went in search of my beloved instrument in the middle of Jerusalem where I was living at the time. I knocked at the door of a school and they led me to a basement with an old piano. I sat there for hours improvising, finally feeling I could express myself as I needed to. It was at that point that I changed my college application from medicine to music. And I haven't looked back since.
